SILICONE RUBBER HEATER E Type

E Type

Sudden Temperature Change

Silicone rubber heaters have traditionally used wound patterns of round nickel alloy wire. This heater instead uses patterns of etched nickel alloy foil. This process is ideal when accuracy and regularity of the pattern are essential, for example, when mass-production is required.

Features

  • Thought the initial cost is incurred, very high power density is allowed.
  • Possesses high thermal response due to low thickness, with a standard thickness of 1.5mm.
  • Can easily be fit on cylinders, cones, and various curved surfaces because of its high flexibility.
  • Available from low temperature to 200°C [392°F] .
  • Different designs including low voltage, 100V, 200V and 240V type are available.
  • This heater allows high power densities of 3-5W/cm2 (19.35-32.25W/in2) suitable for quick heating.
  • The temperature distribution of the heating surface can be accurately controlled. Temperatures are more precise by pitch-winding(±3°C for 280mm × 600mm).

Power Density

  • Power density range of 1-5W/cm2 (6.45-32.25W/in2) is suitable for our etched type in most cases, but this rate may vary depending on installation conditions or methods of thermal control. Please contact us with questions.

UL Standard

  • The material of the silicon rubber heater, manufactured by Rogers (U.S.A), is complied with UL standard file No. E54153.
